Any favorite under-the-radar credit cards that you've found have great travel value?

Not exactly under the radar, but I've grown quite fond of my CSR and CSP. There is a reason Sapphire has been such a stellar success for Chase.

The IHG Rewards card is a good under the radar travel card. You get 80,000 points after only $1,000 in spend. Also, you get a free night each year.IHG hotels include Staybridge Suites and Holiday Inn.

I read about a promo a few months ago where some people managed to rent whole cottages in Europe for 15k Wyndham points per night.

Some palatial estates were technically classified as very expensive "cottages", so you could rent one for 15k points...the same award price as you'd pay for a room at some Econolodge.

I don't have the card, but I bought some points a year ago. I got 2 cpp, but some people were able to get like 20-30 cpp.
