You're completely missing the point. You said, "you won't get very far with 25,000 points." I proved you can fly cross country. It doesn't matter if it's a 12 a.m flight, a flight on a 747 or a prop plane, or if the flight is has three layovers on the way there... You can still get a flight across the country for 25,000 points, opposite of what you said. Don't try to sit here and make excuses and amendments to what you said, just man up and admit you were wrong, it's not that hard.

You're also foolish to believe the $300 credit doesn't go towards airfare tickets. One companion ticket will cost over $300 round trip in most cases unless you're taking a flight with a total time of an hour each way (or around that time).

Teach the OP how to make the card work for them rather than tell them the card won't work. Before I started using my PRG I never traveled at all, but now I enjoy it because I've learned how to use cards that now allows me to travel because they're worth more than a cash back card is, even if total travel is only 1-2 times a year.

I'm not wrong. I'm not going to say I'm wrong when I'm not just because you're as annoying as anyone could possible be. You're incorrect.
Amex - BCP, Platinum, Business Gold
BoA - BankAmericard Cash Rewards
Chase - Freedom, CSP, RC, Ink Plus
Citi - DC, Prestige
Discover - It

Just wanted to update everyone. Had a family emergency recently with long hours of work, but I did get approved for the CSP with nearly a 7k limit. Managed to hit the bonus already as well, but still stumped on one thing regarding 5/24:

- If I add a AU to the account, does that count towards 5/24?

Reason being, since last year I went for the Ink Business Cash, Amex Simplycash Plus, and now the CSP. I was thinking about getting another card later this year (BOA or a Hilton card), so if next year if I apply for another chase card (i.e. the CSR), is it grounds for being denied because of 5/24?

It won't hurt you (because you're not acquiring another credit card), but it WILL count toward 5/24 for whoever you add as authorized user.
Cards:

-Capital One Quicksilver
-Barclaycard Arrival (no AF)
- US Bank (no rewards)
-IHG

I see, and so when I add it, and just get it for the bonus points, is it possible to use it once, and then remove it after 2-3 months? Will that effect anything?
