I don't use Discover Deals all too terribly much, but never had an issue with the extra cash posting. It takes at least one cycle and occasionally two, but it comes. That said, if you're concerned, call and I'm sure they will rectify it.
Discover is not afraid to give out refunds when they are in the wrong. For example, I've had my card since 2012 and noticed one time that I was being charged a "purchase protection" fee or something on every statement. And it was not cheap! I called and asked what it was. Apparently, when I first got the card, I had opted in to it, for a fee. I remarked that I didn't remember signing up for it, but that I must have, and could I please cancel it. Not only did the rep cancel the service, she refunded me for EVERYTHING they had charged me for it since 2012 (the refund was around $600) because I didn't remember signing up for it. Without me even asking for such refund. Now that's customer service.
