I believe certain airline cards are not worth the A/F's. Specifically the Chase United Explorer Card.

For those who are light travelers and have no program loyalty the CSP + Freedom combo and AMEX Everday make very good sense.

In regards to the Arrival+. I was successful in getting the $89 A/F waived for the second year. This was achieved even though I only spent approx. $15K over the first year.

Why that card, specifically? At first glance, it doesn't look that different than other airline-specific cards with similar AFs.
Very useful: SchwabPlat, CSP, IHG, Costco (was AA Plat), Freedom, SPG
Somewhat useful: Discover, ED (was EDP), BCE, Hyatt, Arrival
May close or PC: Prestige, BrooksBros

Might add: Proper business card, CSR, Ritz, Delta Gold, First Tech
