Believe it or not i still use my AT&T Universal Card (personal). A while back, i got a notice that one of the perks was 30 minutes of long distance calling each month. I naturally forgot all about it. Then in February i remembered, called the 1-800 number and they said i had 30 minutes of credit and they placed my long distance call, which lasted about 1 minute. I found out later they marked it up to 4 minutes (maybe because it was an intrastate call). The next month, I called again and they said i had 0 minutes credit. I have asked them a number of times why. They checked their records and it agrees with mine: no other calls were made by me. Have they discontinued the perk? There has been no meaningful response. They refer me back to their Prepaid Phone Card program information. Why i don't know. I thought this was a Credit Card Program. Anyone have any clues?
