points or cashback

Postby Multi-Purpose » Mon Jun 09, 2008 10:28 pm

on the credit cards that let you chose between points or cashback what is better? seems like at least with my cards the cashback is usually better. i cant believe that the value of the rebate is less when you get a gift card. it should be more because you know they're getting a discount off the face value on them.

At first, I thought cash back, so I got the Citi dividend, and then I changed my mind to points since they can be used for different things, so then I got an Amex Green and I'm happy with both haha!
Wallet: Amex BCE & Chase Freedom. (Credit Card dieting since 2014)
