Marriott Rewards invitations

Postby czannah » Sat Jul 26, 2014 4:34 pm

Hey all. I don't know if this is allowed here but I got an offer to invite people to apply for the Marriott Rewards Premier card. I can invite people, and get a few points in the process. The benefit to you is that you are eligible for the 70,000 point offer from MR, with one important difference. You only need to spend $2,000 in the first 3 months rather than $3,000!

So if this is permitted, and anyone wants a referral, let me know!

Crap. Last I checked they were still doing 40,000. And the normal is 70k in 3 months. But I do want the points. :)

The normal offer is 70k for $1k spend. The referral bonus is actually a worse deal for the referee.

I get this exact invitation in the mail every other month. I promptly feed it to my shredder.

The best one: hand shredding and then mixing the pieces in various trashbins throughout the house. I've been known to mix the foulest items into trash bins that may contain credit card application shreds. I want the identity thieves to sit in that filth while trying to assemble a puzzle where all the pieces are not present. I may need to see a therapist...

Best shredder is my parrot, that guy destroys everything even the food he doesn't like just to have me add more food into his bowl that way he can do the same thing all over again.
