Red Light Camera Ticket in Riverside CA

So it's been close to 3 weeks since I've been caught with one of those traffic cameras where I made a right turn on red. I'm sure I made a complete stop, but I can't really remember if I did or just slowed down as I was making a turn on red. I know the camera took a picture of me since I was the only vehicle in the intersection. How long does it usually take to get the ticket in mail? I'm hoping I don't get anything and maybe they just disregard it since I was on my company vehicle and they would be the ones getting the ticket. I'm just fu**en mad because tickets here in Riverside, CA go for around 500 bucks.

They have to manually review each photo and determine if you indeed ran a red light. Its harder to determine from still images if you made a complete stop or not for making a right on red. In my area, red light camera tickets take anywhere from 2-4 weeks to show up in the mail.

I hate those freaking red light cameras, thank goodness we voted to get rid of them last year

Here in Chicago they take about a month to get them in the mail but when you do you can look the incident up online to view the video.. $500 is insane for a red light ticket. I thought Illinois was high at $100.

The actual fine is $480 but yeah, it is very high.

It brings 130 millions dollar to our "broken" state budget.

Well instead of being mad about it be happy it wasnt in your car and the ticket wont be sent to you. Always remember to come to a complete stop before you turn!

It'll take about 4-6 weeks for it to show up in the mail in Riverside in some cases. Now I live just a few cities over and people get them as soon as 10 days. So maybe they decided against the ticket or maybe they didn't and its just gonna take a little bit longer to get it. For your sake I hope they just decided against it.

Well it's been exactly 2 months now and my company hasn't said anything to me about it. I guess I didn't get a ticket after all. I highly doubt they would pay for the ticket and not tell me about it.

Give it about a month before your completely in the clear.

I heard they technically have 90-120 days to mail out the ticket. At least that was the case when I lived in Garden Grove. When I moved to Torrance, got it in a little over 30 days... I swear I'm not a bad driver, just those red light cameras catch you regardless lol.
