Whatever you buy, do NOT buy them purses! Women are so picky about the color, shape, size, brand, pattern, and texture on their purses. Not only that, the purse you buy may be out of season, or in season but from last year's catalogue. They'll never be satisfied with a purse.

Main Card: Amex Platinum
For gas: Penfed Platinum Cash Rewards
For travel & dining: Chase Sapphire Preferred

This is 100% true!!

I like Watches, Gift Cards to places like Sephora, Nordstrom, Amazon, and Clothes. Jewelry is always good as well.

You can do gift cards to a spa. I got my girl an iTunes gift certificate and a Kate spade wallet. She also mentioned a gift from Sephora and perfume in general.

Haha yeah those too. On a serious note, women hate any gift that is actually useful. My dad got me a new snowblower for Xmas. Best gift ever. So if something isn't useful and is pretty much worthless right after you buy it, your wife/girlfriend will probably like it.

That's because they consider the emotional content of the gift to be of more value than the usefulness.
