    Unhappy There's a shooting in my neighborhood

    It's now approaching 3 am, about an hour ago there was a multiple shooting within hearing distance of my home. I've been having a meeting here at my home with a business partner and shortly after he left (at 2 am) I hear 7 to 8 gunshots just south of me. I live in Los Angeles, but although gunshots may be common in some parts of the city, this particular neighborhood is upscale (the Hollywood Hills) so this is something you would not expect here. My window was open in my bedroom when it happened and and it sounded like it was coming from down at the bottom of the hills, probably 1/2 to 3/4 of mile away. About 30 seconds later there were multiple sirens and quickly a police helicopter.

    Things settled down and now almost an hour later (literally 10 seconds ago) there was another single gunshot in the distance, quickly followed by sirens. I wonder what's going on? I deadbolted my door and closed my blinds. This shooter could be on foot, making his way up into the hills to hide out from the cops.

    That's what happens when you live in the land of the loonies out there in California. If a shooter tried breaking into my house he wouldn't be much of a match for my Remington 12 gauge pump shotgun I keep under my bed. I'd smoke him out so fast he wouldn't know what hit him.

    Anything new happen with this?! I did a search right now on the KCAL's site for "Hollywood" + "shooting" and didn't see anything in the news about this?
