Default How to stop Americredit repossession? Payment arrangement?

What can be done to stop an Americredit repossession (GM Financial) from going down? Americredit repossesses cars aggressively (I have read) and I am behind 4 months on payment and those bastards call me to harass constantly. I don't have a job and don't know what they expect to get out of me. You cant' squeeze blood from a turnip! I would like to try and figure out a way to stop it from happening. Does a payment arrangement work?

My second question is if anyone knows what the Americredit repo man does usually. My neighbor said a white pickup was driving around slowly around my house a couple times while I wasnt home and they were doing it once really late at night in the wee hours of the morning. I was at my boyfriends and not home but if he was working for Americredit repossession dept then I am in trouble. Do you think at 4 months they would be coming to repo my car?

I'm a fan of his too A friend of mine was going to get her car repossessed and her neighbor a block over let her park in her garage. Every time the repo man would come there was nothing at her house RFLOL! She did have a GM car but it was not Americredit trying to repossess because it was financed through her bank. Anywho when I saw your post I wanted to share this technique in case you can use it. But do make sure the car is in a garage and not out in the open.

Default My car was repo'ed last night

Well my vehicle was repossesed last night well this morning at 1:30 am by Americredit. I am not shocked as I knew it was going to happen eventually. I dont even know if its worth it to fight it being that I still owe more then the car is even worth actually 2 times as much.

The people that came to get the vehicle were very nice. they actually knocked on the door and asked me if there is anything i needed out of the car.
