I'm just curious here. I've been reading about lots of people on here using Credit Karma but on the flip side, not everyone wants to pay $$$ to see their credit scores. Now just saying some numbers let's say CK shows me a score of 640 and shows my odds of approval for a Capone cash rewards card as excellent. I do the app and get a denial because in their letter they say I have a score of 570.
Now if I was planning on buying a house or something in the near future I could see the importance of paying for real scores but for this, let's just say I want to know if I qualify for a basic credit card, nothing fancy. Is there really a way I could look at CK and have an idea if I qualify?
Before someone says to start with a secured card, maybe my credit is now good enough I don't need one, but how would I know?
