Default When does my credit limit increase get reported?

Last week I increased my limit by $1,000. How long until this gets reported to the credit bureaus?

You can ask for anything. Whether they do it, who knows. Doesn't hurt anything to ask.

I'd be patient. From an IT standpoint, there are normal processes with how credit card companies do data transfer with the credit bureaus. And considering the sheer amount of data that come every day, there is usually a priority to them.

Inquiries from a creditor usually are posted within 24-72 hours. New cards, adjustments or cancellations can take anywhere from a few days to a couple of weeks ("7 to 10 business days" is common). Credit limits seem to be reported about the same time that statement dates close for card holders...usually toward the end of the third week of a month, give or take a week.

Yeah, right around 2-3 days is how long it has typically taken my balances to update (at least with TransUnion via Credit Karma).
