    Default Withdrawal

I must say, I'm going through credit card withdrawal. I haven't seen any card that is worth adding to the collection. In addition, I have cancelled a Bank of America card and I'm considering cancelling my Amex charge card. I'm waiting for the next big thing I guess, like the US Bank Cash +.

Man I feel you on that one. I have been feeling lately that the market has gotten a bit dry, with nothing too exciting coming out since the Cash + like you said. Who knows. Maybe 2013 will bring some cool new accounts to chase (no pun intended), much to the dismay of my ever-dwindling AAoA.

With all due respect, you guys pretty much have anything worth having, and have a lot of cards. Not sure what you'd even do with more.

I want more cards too! Something with good cash back/point categories and a good design.

    Main Card: Amex Platinum
For gas: Penfed Platinum Cash Rewards
For travel & dining: Chase Sapphire Preferred

I agree. It is just the thrill of the chase. Ultimately, I would like to end up with 5% back on every single thing I do. I'm not there yet.

I align my credit card bills with my payperiods. I use the cards evenly between the two. I have all the cards I need to make sure I get top cash back throughout the month. I think I can earn over $2k cash back next year.

Over 2k next year eh? Looks like we can have a little competition.

Let's do it. The BCP will help me earn cash back pretty much on anything I have to buy. I'm going to use gift cards to everywhere I go next year. I want 5% back on everything I do. The citi forward, penfed cards, bcp, and discover will help me with that.

Alright, game on. You need to find a grocery store with a fuel savings program. If you count that money I think you could get to 7 or 8% on everything (which is what I'm shooting for). Also, check out Ebates.com if you haven't already. It's basically the same as ShopDiscover but with more stores. ShopDiscover makes up for having less stores with a better % back though.

If you decide to sign up for Ebates, PM me so I can get a referral!
