Which credit card for best sign-up rewards?

Postby x.ff » Tue Nov 27, 2012 12:26 am

I'm planning to pay my tuition over the next 4 months (4 month, each payment 2500$);

Which credit card would you think offers the best cash back bonus for sign up / spending?

BTW My school charges a 2.5% "convenience fee" when using credit cards.

Thank you,

Chase Sapphire Preferred gives a 40k point bonus for spending $3k in the first 3 months which is good for $400 cash or $500 in travel rewards. You have to have excellent credit or a semi-strong relationship with Chase in order to get it though, but it's a pretty awesome card.

There's a 50k signup bonus (=$500) for the Chase Ink Bold or Plus ($5k spend in 3 months).
