Which one? I've never used them, but they do have some niche cards that provide unique rewards. They also run Apple's credit card.

I have the barclaycard rewards mastercard - yes it does complement nicely other cards with caps when barclay run specials (bonus points).

The only problem with reward cards is the high interest rate. barclay offers 15% on reward cards. The ring is 8% with little or no reward.

I have two of their cards, a Priceline and a Sallie Mae.

    What's the offer?
Credit cards from banks, deposits in credit unions.

It was for a rewards card. It just said Barclays on the envelope. I will have to look at it again when I get home. Have you had good experience with them overall?

Overall they're OK. The cards and rewards work as advertised, however their customer service isn't as good as Chase or Discover.

Also be advised that YMMV, but they are known to do AA on people who apply for other cards within 6 months of getting a card of theirs. Some people app'd and had nothing happen, others got CLD or even their accounts closed. Again YMMV but it's best to know this before you decide to leap.

Also they are known to be very easy to recon if you are declined. In fact a year ago I applied for one of their cards and was declined, but after reading so many recon success stories called and recon'd and got approved. Just take it easy on the apps for a while afterwards if you go for it.

Hey how are the rewards like on that Sallie Mae card? It's the same one that gives you 4% on the upromise restaurants or something right?

I'm probably going to apply for something in first quarter and possible get rid of my PRG. I will probably look the other way on this one.
