Credit card not showing up on my credit report?

Postby zrussell » Sun Sep 02, 2012 5:07 pm

About 1.5 months ago, I received two credit cards, one discover card, and one cap1 card, and they haven't shown on my credit report yet.

This is odd, because I got two more new store cards more recently, and they do show up on my report.

Any Idea why this is or what I should do?

Thanks,
Zach

If you can get a hold of a account mgr you can ask them this. But if no account mgrs from any credit bureau pick up the phone, I guess you have to write to them.

My Freedom showed up 5 days after my first statement closed. My Discover More, Amex Gold and Costco, and REI Visa are beyond that and have not yet reported. Discover told me 60-90 days.

Discover card not showing on my 3 reports

Postby gogators » Wed Oct 31, 2012 11:44 pm

I have had my discover more card for over three months now. I recently checked all three credit reports and my cards shows up on neither one. I contacted Discover about this and they just said that it should have showed up within 90 days. Has anyone else had a problem with this?

I heard that Discover can take awhile to report, some have even said that it took six months to report. I would call Discover and ask them to do an "off cycle update"
AMEX BCE ($20,000), Citi Forward ($4,800), Discover IT ($3,750), BoA Travel Rewards ($1,800)

I had the same problem with them reporting my line increase and card ,they said it will show up in new billing cycle, I waited, 2 days after I call .,than they told me in 3-5 days ,nothing .after 2 try I spoke to a rep in the right dept. he put it in and said it should take a couple of hours. Be nice and push until you get the right rep. or dept. Don't wait 90 days,I know If you play late after 30 days discover will report now not in 90 days. p.s please don't pay late

Thats what I keep hearing as well, I just recently got approved for a Discover More card and I keep hearing from here and other boards that Discover usually reports 3-6 months after opening an account with them but I guess YMMV, because sometimes they do it earlier, like exdoll said you keep pushing until you get the right rep.
