Default Barclays credit card reconsideration success!

    Greetings,

I recently applied online for a Barclays visa card and after their 30-second evaluation I was denied credit. I then figured out I could potentially get the decision overturned if I call Barclays (Credit Analyst) and speak to the representative directly.

The representative was very helpful and understanding and agreed I am in actuality eligible for credit, considering I have never made a late payment, but because I am still fairly new to credit and don't have an expansive credit history the online evaluation had denied me.

After calling for reconsideration I answered a few important questions i.e annual income, and I was asked what is my requested limit, I was shortly approved for $2,000 credit limit! Already made the purchase.

    Regards, In Credit We Trust
