Default Should I get a third credit card? Recommendations?

Currently I have an AMEX Cash Everyday, and a Chase Freedom Visa.

Is there anything that will offer better cash back with no annual fee? I don't often spend money on 'travel expenses' so some solution that gets miles or cash for travel is useless.

Try a Discover More. 5% cashback on rotating categories; I would think that would complement your Chase Freedom quite well.

The only problem with a Discover card is it's accepted in a lot of places. his/her normal places like the malls they won't have any problems, but certain places he /she will.

The original poster has New York state as where they live. if he/she lives in my area New York/New Jersey area certain restaurants and stores don't take this card. I was actually thinking about the Discover card too, but he/she asked if there's a better card other than the Chase Freedom and Blue cash for getting cash back.

When you get a chance you can always stop off at your local Citibank and talk to them about your question and see if they have a card for you.

My issue with the Discover More card is the 2012 bonus quarters for gas are the same as the Chase Freedom. I just use my Open Road card at restaurants these days.

I also like the BofA Cash Rewards card, even though I've had it since before BofA gobbled up Fleet. They give a 10% bonus for depositing the cash reward into their checking or savings accounts.

I think PenFed has a 5% gas card, you might want to check them out if you spend a lot on gas.

Dave the Bank of America makes sense. The Open Road is more for people who just use the card on gas and restaurants, 2% back granted they can use it other places too but the main focus on this card is gas and restaurants.

Remember this is still a Discover card which means there are quite a few places that don't take this card. A while back I was talking to my waiter at Pasta Cucina about if the restaurant takes Discover he said a lot of places meaning restaurants don't take Discover but theirs does.

When you are using your Open Road card do you ever encounter waiters or waitresses telling you that their restaurant doesn't take Discover? Does it happen quite frequently or every now and then?

First... What are your credit limits on those cards - AMEX Cash Everyday and Chase Freedom Visa?
Second... Which of the two you mentioned is your primary credit card?
    Third... Your age?
Fourth... How do you use those two cards that you have?
