About LinkBacksHow do you people feel about Neiman Marcus not accepting your your Visa or Mastercard credit card
and your Visa or Mastercard debit card in their store if you want to buy a gift card?
I actually mean the department store not the outlet.
I find it disappointing. I can understand that we can't use any credit cards that are American express competition. But I find it dissapointing that I can't use my debit card which is a visa.

NM, like any other retailer, can accept whichever CCs they want. They take Amex and Diner's Club. This topic has been brought up before elsewhere...

It might have been brought up before. However when I went to garden state plaza I asked what credit cards do you take, the employees said Neiman Marcus and American express. No Diners club. I went to Nordstroms they said they take everthing including Diners club.

Hmm, I guess they don't want to deal with Visa/MC. I see they take them on their website. If you really wanted to use a Visa/MC. maybe you could get a gift card on the website and use it at the store.

You are 100% correct DavidNY they do take VISA and MASTERCARD on there web site and neither does Costco.

This is interesting. I called a Neiman Marcus in O.C. and was told they do not take Discover or Diners Club. It seems as if their employees aren't all consistent and informed on which credit cards are and are not accepted. Originally Posted by Money card

What card do you use when you shop at their outlets?
when you go to the Neiman marcus store to buy merchandise or a gift card, as we all know they only take American express and their own charge card. But in the outlets with last year's merchandise, they take all credit cards including Discover not sure about jcb cards.
Whether it be your Discover open road, chase freedom, chase sapphire, any capitol 1, your discover cards, bank of america cards and your American express cards, when you buy something at your Neiman Marcus outlet what credit card do you use?
last January on Martin luther king weekend I was up at Woodbury common premium outlets and I bought a couple of dress shirts for work. I asked them what credit cards do you take, the sales person said all of them Visa, Master card, Discover and American express.
so from being in the mall and only being allowed to use American express over the holidays, I thought to myself I would use a different card that day and I used my Discover card.
what credit card does everybody use who has American express and other credit cards at the Neiman Marcus outlet?
