Thread: Pre-Approved Credit Card Offers

For the past six months or so I have received Pre-Approved Card offers from American Ex and Chase. I'm a new credit card user, only 13 months (prior to this I had no recent credit history). I currently have a VISA card issued by my bank and I always pay my bill in full every month within two days of the statement being ready. I recently checked my credit scores and Equifax is 716, Experian is 738 and TransUnion is 758.

American EX has sent offers for Green, several Zync offers and several Gold Card offers. Chase has sent several pre-approved offers for Blueprint and Slate Cards.

Are Pre-Approved offers usually a sure bet?
