Default Adding authorized users without Social Security Number?

I want to add authorized users to my credit card account, but without giving details like their SS#. Is there a way to do this? Thanks

You should be able to add an authorized user with a Social being required. People get secondary cards in other names all the time and without providing a SS#.

Have you tried to do it yet or were you asking first?

I did this about two weeks ago actually and the phone rep never asked for the new cardholder's social security number.
