You should be able to add an authorized user with a Social being required. People get secondary cards in other names all the time and without providing a SS#.
Have you tried to do it yet or were you asking first?Disclosure: I am a moderator/paid staff of this site, which does have advertising relationships with some credit cards that are discussed. Regardless, anything I say is my honest opinion.

I did this about two weeks ago actually and the phone rep never asked for the new cardholder's social security number.
