Have to agree with the others. I went the NPSL Amex cards for a year in college and it wasn't worth the AFs. Go with the Everyday card if you're interested in points. Also, why do you think you'd be more likely to be approved for a charge card? I think you'd be less likely the be approved versus a credit card. Also, you'll likely earn more points with the Everyday card. The Green offers 1 point for everything and the PRG's bonus categories are for things a college student living on campus will rarely use. With the Everyday card you'll get bonus points as long as you swipe the card enough times each month.
