btw is Overstock being popular recently? Have seen 6 approval threads about that on the first page. Looks like those guys are really obsessed with the shopping cart trick.
I actually asked that question over there as to what the big deal behind this card was, especially compared to what I already have with my Amazon Store card and it seems like the hype is that you can get a relatively high initial CL on a SP if you get one of those preapproval popups, even if you're trying to rebuild your credit.
I really don't like how the financing requirement amounts are higher on that Overstock card so it wouldn't be worth it at all in my case. I think the other reason it's popular there is because some people tried to get the FNBO Overstock card and couldn't so that was their next best thing. Seems like Comenity also just started issuing those Overstock cards this year.
The only Comenity accounts that honestly interest me are the ones that don't report at all to credit bureaus and have those financing offers, which are all related to Bill Me Later/Paypal Credit. I have two of those myself which I found pretty useful for that purpose, especially with some purchases I recently made.
