I definitely think FMC92 is a troll. As for B&T -- I don't know. If B&T is a troll, he/she is a very good one. The "family bankruptcy" idea was odd, but B&T sometimes seems so naive that its possible B&T thought that maybe it was something that could be done.

It seems odd that just a few months ago bankrupcy was something they were considering and now they are getting auto CLIs. However, at the same time, it seems possible that when B&T said "maybe my family should file for bankruptcy" he was 1) naive about what bankruptcy really is and 2) simply expressing some frustration over his family's finances. They may never have been in that much financial distress. And, its possible that someone in the family got a better paying job in the meantime, thus creating a significant new source of income.

I don't know what to think . Im certainly suspicious, but its possible there is some truth to the whole B&T drama.

There was one time where the real FMC92 actually posted a screenshot of how many inquiries he had or something. It was unreal.

Maybe he got tired of credit altogether and gave up. He used to be on Credit Boards too.

Off topic but I think if Membersince99 was still here, he'd have a field day with this TonicWater guy. I think he's also a troll. He's trying to discourage this young man from setting up his MSD with Amex and based on a lot of inaccurate information too, especially about how inquiries work.

It started here.

Ohhhhh.....that guy. I've brought him up here before one time. 99.9% of his posts are just generic congrats. I even thought he was a bot at one point until he started asking about increasing the limit on his Beaver card.

When I try to congratulate someone over there, I try to make sure that my message has something more than just spamming that one word everywhere on every single thread, and even try to have some helpful things here and there for the person, especially if it's a card I've had direct experience with.

What about my guess...
He has written a script which does the following when activated:
Constantly monitor the Credit Card Approval board on myFICO and if there is a thread he has not replied to then automatically post a "congrats" message.

So when he is not browsing MF he will just keep the script running. When he comes back he might post some stuff of his own.
