AmEx & Citi Hilton Honors

Postby pac4toon » Tue Apr 08, 2014 5:36 pm

I currently have the AmEx HHonors (no AF) card and already recieved the bonus 40,000 HHonors points. I was looking around online and noticed that Citi HHonors card (no AF) has the same offer after spending $1000 within the first 4 months. I was wondering if I signed up for the Citi HHonors and meet the spending requirements will the current 40,000 HHonors points I have with AmEx show the additional 40,000 I earned with the Citi card and vice versa?

Can you please rephrase the question.

If you are asking if Amex cares what you do with your Citi card and vice versa, the answer is no. They each buy the points from Hilton and use them as an incentive to lure new card members. Only Hilton will know you got points from multiple sources but they won't care because they win on both ends.

If that isn't what you are asking, see my first statement.
