I have added my brother as a authorized user on my Discover, AMEX, and CapitalOne. I recently checked my credit report and I saw that TU and EquiFax are reporting my name on the credit report as MY NAME or MY BROTHERS NAME
And I recently joined CK, and I was getting error saying that the information is not matching, so I used my BROTHERS NAME with my ssn to verify account at CK and it got verified.
Further, I checked my report from TU and EquiFax, I am listed as Authorized User (A), instead of Individual User (I) in the Type of account field on the credit report in the Discover and CapitalOne section. So does this mean, Discover and CO are reporting wrong information..!
Should I be worried, and how do I rectify this?
Any suggestion is helpful.
