So maybe a dumb question but... is there some way to be certain what *kind* of card I'd get if I applied for a CSP? It seems in the past it was either Visa Signature or World MC, and more recently it seems like Visa Sig is more likely. I'd like either of those at a minimum for travel purposes. Is it possible for them to give out a Visa or MC of a *lower* tier for your CSP?

Chase is phasing out MC. They will go with only Visa going forward, and from what I know, the CSP only comes in the signature version.

From the CSP terms, re: the 40k sign-up bonus:

This one-time bonus offer is valid only for first-time cardmembers with new accounts. Previous and existing cardmembers/accounts are not eligible for this bonus offer.

I have an Amazon and Freedom card from Chase, but reading elsewhere online seems to indicate that if I applied for a new CSP, I'd qualify for the sign-up bonus. Does anyone have recent experience that can confirm this?

I just recently got a CSP after having the Freedom for a while; they sent me the offer with all the bonus points, and when I accepted the offer, it didn't do anything like say that I wouldn't get the bonus. I'll update this when I get it, but I haven't seen any indication that I won't.

They mean cardholders, in reality. You can have any other Chase card as long as it wasn't the CSP.
Citi Forward ($10.1K), AmEx Blue Cash Everyday ($30K), Chase Freedom ($12.4K), Discover it ($5.5K), Barclaycard Arrival ($12.5K), L.L. Bean Visa ($5K). FICO 806 (TU), 812 (EQ), 806 (EX).
