"Flexible Spending Credit Card" - Citi AAdvantage MC

Postby xbillyjean42x » Sun Mar 02, 2014 8:06 am

On my credit report, this is posted under "Loan type". Is this some new terminology recently? I've never seen this term on any of my credit reports before.
This is on my equifax, and it does report my credit limit. I have a $900 cash advance access on the card, and of course the rewards associated with it, but that's about it. Anyone else have this card or any other types that report the same way? What does it mean?

Discover IT Student- $500 Aug 2013
EECU Credit Union Visa- $500 Aug 2013
Best Buy (Citibank)- $2k Sept 2013
Citi AAdvantage MC-$4k Nov 2013

Yes it's what is known as a "Signature" type card meaning you can go over your limit but have to at least pay the card down to the limit when the payment is due. Typically for Visa that requires a 5k limit, but apparently MC doesn't treat it the same way.

That's all it means.
