quick reply to warren buffet issue. I live in Omaha, I live 2 blocks from his office.he frequents non posh establishments for lunch including a village inn. you wouldn't expect some1 of his stature to be dining in such a non 5star type of place but he does. he is very low key. not a look at me kinda guy. in fact he lives a mile from me in a very modest home...nothing like bill gates or others. you would never guess he lives there....been there a few decades actually. and by the way when he paid for his lunch...it was in cash,

I've seen photos of his house too. A place he bought decades ago. What I'm curious about is what sort of private security he has guarding the place. If you read about Larry Elison, for example, it damn near sounds like he has mercenaries with full autos patrolling his estate.

warren has no security..perhaps maybe adt or sumthin normal. house is in a nice old neighborhood. nobody really bothers him. part of Omaha's charm. I think he's always been about the chase not the end result. he's pretty much given away almost all his net worth to charities after he passes. aint no black cards in the after life.

Starwood Preferred Guest (AmEx). Of course I'd always carry my debit MC with me for backup.
