I'd still take the Centurion though.

I wonder if Warren Buffett's personal Amex Green card has it's own set of special perks that's greater than the Centurion. If that's the case, I want his card :D

Does Warren 'cheapskate but loaded' Buffet really have a Centurion card? I thought he was against it because of the ridiculous fees?

He doesn't. He has the plain Green card. But my hunch is it's not plain when he calls into CS with that card number

For me, in reality, it would be my CSP card. I have gotten a lot of value out of the UR points, it's a Visa (wide acceptance), no foreign transaction fees, etc. In my dreams it'd be a Centurion all the way. My grandfather has one, but no luck on getting him to add me as an AU yet... :(

dream card?

i'm a simple man....an Amex plat with 50K CL. I pray that Sp3 Investments LLC gets to the point where i get that....i can't imagine having the spending ability to need a Cent card....i can't wrap my mind around that kind of money Paid in Full every month. that math is easy to understand.....but being ABLE to do it.......i can't comprehend it.

I wouldn't be surprised to hear Warren Buffet's NPSL = ∞. He probably doesn't need many of the Centurion's perks anyway since he almost always uses his private jet and doesn't really need concierge service. Not that I'm a member of the Warren Buffet admiration society like most people... personally I don't like him. When GEICO calls me whenever I do one of those online insurance quotes (along with 50 other auto insurance companies), I always tell them I'm not interested in GEICO because they've paid for 80% of the radar guns police departments use across the US(which is true) and because I think Warren Buffet is a filthy pr!ck. That usually ends the call pretty quickly.
In my Wallet:
  • Amex PRG NPSL[3-14, bd 91]
  • Sallie Mae MC $8000[1-14]
  • Chase Freedom $4700[1-14]
  • Discover It $2750[8-13]
  • BoA UCF Alumni Cash Rewards $5000 [3-15]
Sometimes in my Wallet:
  • GM BuyPower WEMC $5000[9-14]
  • Wells Fargo Propel 365 Amex $7000[4-14]
  • Barclaycard Arrival WEMC $7000[3-14]
  • BoA Better Balance $3000[2-15]
In my sockdrawer: Amex BCE $1000[10-13, bd 91], OCCU Duck $10000 [11-13], The Sportsman's Guide Visa $8000[8-14], Chase Slate $4000 [9-14]Delta Gold Amex $2000 [2-15 bd 91], Diners Club MC $20000 [10-14] Commerce Bank Visa $2000 [3-15] Citi Double Cash $1000 [3-15]
Total CL: $90450

if we all were eligible for an amex centurion...we wouldn't be pining for one on this post lol. I had bad credit 2yrs ago but after really going after it I now have 9 credit cards including premier ones like amex bce preferred & recently I just acquired my Excalibur..chase sapphire preferred. as enticing as the black cards are ...do we really want to pay the ridiculous fees to get 1? I am closing on my 1st house so to me I have reached my apex on my credit journey. good luck to every1 out there trying to do the same. it just takes a desire to fix your credit & some research to expedite your results. if anyone has any ?s on credit rebuilding I would be happy to reply.
