the restaurant? yes, I know the two owners well, and I ask but they just don't for whatever reason

was there last week and I asked one of them, he said high fees but then they accept Amex?!

oh well, did suggest they also use square or stripe if they are no longer in contract with their vendor via bofa

they're upgrading their system onto cloud so hopefully they will do something then

NAP/MRporter/theoutnet won't listen to me about discover or using another carrier besides UPS but I put feedback anyways, hopefully with enough they will

had a nightmare with UPS and all three packages arriving tmr is from them -______-

There really isn't just one that would work for me which is why I have what I have but I'd probably go with the CSP since it's my current default card.

How much does one have to invest with ML to qualify for this card?

I think the reason a lot of restaurants accept Amex is the fact that a very large majority of corporate cards are Amex charge cards. So they want to capture that market.
Discover IT - $5,700
Chase Freedom - $5,700
Costco Citi - $13,000
Sallie Mae - $4,000
Chase Sapphire Preferred - $6,000
Chase Sapphire Reserve - $19,500
Citi Double Cash - $6,500
Amex BCE - $13,000

FICOs: Discover (777), SallieMae (764), Amex (767), Citi (772)
FAKOs: CK- TU (760), EQ (760)

There is no minimum investment required to open a ML account, although from personal experience; their brokerage customer service is the very worst.
In my Wallet:
  • Amex PRG NPSL[3-14, bd 91]
  • Sallie Mae MC $8000[1-14]
  • Chase Freedom $4700[1-14]
  • Discover It $2750[8-13]
  • BoA UCF Alumni Cash Rewards $5000 [3-15]
Sometimes in my Wallet:
  • GM BuyPower WEMC $5000[9-14]
  • Wells Fargo Propel 365 Amex $7000[4-14]
  • Barclaycard Arrival WEMC $7000[3-14]
  • BoA Better Balance $3000[2-15]
In my sockdrawer: Amex BCE $1000[10-13, bd 91], OCCU Duck $10000 [11-13], The Sportsman's Guide Visa $8000[8-14], Chase Slate $4000 [9-14]Delta Gold Amex $2000 [2-15 bd 91], Diners Club MC $20000 [10-14] Commerce Bank Visa $2000 [3-15] Citi Double Cash $1000 [3-15]
Total CL: $90450

Not a thing! I have no investments at ML. Just called the number at the website and applied over the phone.
Retired, and in the process of retiring cards!

If it had to be one of my actual cards I'd go with the Amex Preferred Gold Rewards.
If we are talking about my dream card: AmEx Centurion. And then I don't want any other card.
