Arrival and CSP questions!

Postby MP3 » Thu Jan 30, 2014 7:09 pm

I currently have the Amex BCE and Discover IT cards. I don't do a whole lot of spending as I tend to use my debit cards often as well. Would It be dumb for me to apply for the Arrival OR CSP barring that I don't spend a ton annually. I am looking for 2 more cards and have narrowed it down to those above..as well as Chase Freedom and US Cash Plus. I'd like either the Arrival or BSP is it's worth it, and either the Freedom or Cash+.

Using your debit card is a really bad idea because of the risk of it getting hacked and the thieves draining your bank account. I would not use it if I had a credit card to use instead. Granted I used a debit card for years and never had that happen but hey, I've driven the last 26 years accident free too but could have one tomorrow, you just never know.

So I would switch to using only credit cards.

And I replied on your other post like this, but if you don't spend much and or don't travel, why get travel cards? In that case the Freedom and or Cash Plus would be better. It just depends on your spending and what you want to use the cards for. If you travel or will travel get a travel card, if you want rewards go for that. Or do one of each.

Sorry. Casualty of using my phone and posting in-flight. OP has posted the same thread three times.
