I have four::
- Wells Fargo Secured
- BoA 3-2-1 Cash Rewards secured
- Crap One QuicksilverOne
- Amex Green
These were the first three cards I got since I've started (re)building my credit + the Amex card which got me in the door with them. My standards since then have changed drastically and I don't think I would be satisfied applying for a card with an annual fee unless the rewards were too good to pass up (I had considered the BCP Amex instead of the BCE, but wasn't sure if I could spend enough in groceries to justify it. The BoA card will probably graduate before the year is up and I've heard it is relatively easy to PC to a no AF card. Wells Fargo... I;m not so sure about. If it doesn't graduate by the 11th month, I may say bye-bye to WF because their unsecured options suck anyway.
It's almost a sure bet I'll cancel the Crap One card before the AF hits again. With the Steps program, I'll have a $750 limit and I may have time to "squeeze in" a CLI request increase before the AF hits. If that increase doesn't take me up to $2000, I will cancel. Even if it does ( which isn;t likely... all their "we're a conservative lender B.S.) I may cancel anyway. Most of my spending is covered by other cards, so the 1.5% in any category isn't extremely appealing anyway.
The Amex green, I'll try to do a PC to the PRG after 13 months...
