May of 2004. Had just opened an account with Bank of America and they gave me my first Student Credit Card with a $1000 CL. I thought that was the biggest thing on the face of the earth especially when I maxed it out on a laptop. Defaulted on it and lost it.

Capital One Student card $250 limit 19%apr. Kept the account open because its my oldest, and now its a Capital One Venture Platinum with $3500 Limit. I don't use it though, because the limit is a joke and the interest is still around 14%

I got my first card in '09, right when I turned 18. It was a Bank of America Student Platinum Plus Mastercard with my university logo on it. Credit line was $800, and I didn't pay attention to the APR since I always planned to pay in full. A very boring card, but at least it built me credit. I have since PC'd it to the Travel Rewards card. Too bad the CL is still the same, lol.
AMEX BCE ($20,000), Citi Forward ($6,800), Discover IT ($5,250), BoA Travel Rewards ($1,800)

15 months ago I had to beg my local bank to give me a $500 limit platinum visa to start building my credit at 21 years old. I think I've done well ever since

Wow, yes, I'll say! All those primo cards with such a low AAoA. Interesting. Other than PIF do you report a high income? I'm curious what else is in your report: student loans, car payment, etc?

Mine is the same situation. I got my first card in '10. BofA Student Platinum Plus VISA with 700 CL. Now PC'd to BofA Cash Rewards card. And after more than 3 years, the credit limit is just 1000$. I have asked them to increase, but they never do. So I have stopped bothering.

Gold Delta AMEX | Citi DoubleCash | Citi Simplicity
Chase Freedom | Kohls Charge Card
