On your credit report it should list who the current collection agency is. You can always Google their name and get their contact info. If you do contact the collection agency I always tell people call from a number other than your cell if possible. No need for them to have that info.
However, that said, I would just contact Cap One direct. See if they still have the account and if they will take payment. If they will. great because they may prove nicer to deal with than a collection agency.
If they have sold it, you will need to call the collection agency listed on your report.
