Worth a Dispute?

Postby thom02099 » Sat Oct 26, 2013 9:21 am

Interesting situation with Equifax.

I have multiple TL (10 or so) from my local credit union, who's initials are PSCU. All of the TL show correctly on Experian and TransUnion. However, on Equifax, the TL are showing as PSECU, Public Service EMPLOYEES Credit Union, which is not the same as my local credit union, though similar in name.

Is this worth a dispute with Equifax? All of the TL are favourable, there's nothing negative about it, just that they are INCORRECT! The accounts are not with PSECU, and could lead to confusion if I were to apply for credit and be subject to a manual review.

Any thoughts on this? Worth the time to dispute, or should I just let it go and be happy with the 10 positive TL?
Retired, and in the process of retiring cards!
