You should call them to find out. They may ask you a couple of questions and then immediately approve you after giving them more information. good luck.

I echo that. Follow up and see what they say.

I'm a professional student, as well. Working, but also going to grad school.

Discover it (student) and Citi Forward (student) should be easy gets. My FICO was 743 when I applied. See my sig for CL's.

I had to backdoor it with Chase Freedom, but got approved after two talks. The first said no, the second said yes. Chase is known to be tough. I should be getting a CLI shortly with them. Always pay in full and way early.

They said my credit score did not meet their requirement.

WTF I never missed a payment.

have you ever checked your report to see if everything is correct?

annualcreditreport.com is free once a year. It wont show a score, but it will give you all the other important information

I'll look into it. But what if everything is correct? I know I have never missed a payment... but it's a Citi Student card why are they busting my balls

Unfortunately your credit score is more than just "not missing a payment". A lot depends on your balances, the average age of your accounts, if you've ever had lates or charge offs, and the average age of your accounts. Check your credit reports to see if there is anything negative on them and try to get it corrected if its is wrong.
