Reimbursed delay

Hi, I just got a credit card couple days ago, and yesterday I went to a store and bought a laptop. Arrived at home, I realized that the laptop was broken so I went back to the store and got reimbursed. Last thing I know, they reimbursed me but when I came back home and checked my balance on my credit card, I noticed that the money hadn't registered in my credit card online account. Is there any possibilities that it could take couple days to register in my account, so I can see that I've really got reimbursed correctly?

It could take a few days to show up. This is normal. Do not worry until it has been more than 5 complete business days. I have noticed some transactions, grocery stores in this case, taking even longer.

Had the entire transaction taken place at the time of purchase you might see the results but these were separated by time. Once the transaction is separate it complicates things. If handled soon enough the transactions can be done by reversing charges. This has to be done on the same register and the same drawer. If this cannot be done it might as well have been more than a day.
