CO lolz for the day.

Postby catsartcox » Wed Aug 28, 2013 7:18 pm

Here is something that may make you feel better about your credit card. I applied with Cap one awhile ago for a quicksilver. I canceled my app after how they treated me and from what I read on here.
Today they sent me a e-mail.

Arthur Cox,

Give us another chance to get you closer to your goals with the Capital One® Secured MasterCard®. Upon credit approval, you’ll get features that can help you move forward, like regular reporting to the 3 major credit bureaus. Using this card responsibly can help you build good credit. For more information about this secured card, check out our FAQ page.

Succeed with built-in features

- Monitor and understand your credit when you enroll for your free membership in CreditInform®.

- Stay on top of payments by setting custom alerts.

- Get an opportunity to earn a credit line increase with responsible use.

Here’s how it works
You’ll receive a $200 credit line for a refundable security deposit of $49, $99, or $200, based on your payment history and creditworthiness. If you’d like a larger credit line, you can deposit more money to increase it, up to your maximum approved credit line. You can make your refundable security deposit in installments by phone or online.

Get the most from your card
Just like any other credit card, making late payments, exceeding your credit limit, or poor performance on other accounts can negatively impact your credit rating. Keep in mind, using this card responsibly can help you build better credit. This offer expires August 30, 2013.

Wow, compared to every other card in the world. This one sucks. Even for someone with a -100 Score.

-29$ annually fee
-200 CL with a deposit
-no rewards
-minimal benefits
on a 22.9 APR card.....

And they offered it to me, kinda a little insulting.

They really REALLY want you back.

Side note: Generally a good idea to remove your real name from these types of things.

Yeah, its to late to edit it, I don't have the option. If a mod wants to do it, that would be cool. :)

This question may illuminate why you should be more careful: Your dad is a Jr., right?

I know what's out there under my name. How'd you like my website? It's a bit dated at this point.

I really appreciate that you've taken my suggestion to heart.
