Capital One approved my credit increase :)

Postby xbillyjean42x » Sun Aug 18, 2013 11:33 am

So my hard work has paid off so far. I've had this card since June of 2012, had it at 300, got bumped to 500 after 5 months with the promotion, and my first request about 1yr and 2 months after, was pushed to a 1k :) I decided that since it doesn't do any hard pulls on my account, I would go ahead and put in a request. Super excited :) I know this company isn't that great at CLI's from numerous complaints all over the web, but we will see how far it goes. I'm glad to see my rebuilding credit is paying off woohoo! I know this is really minor compared to many others who have other types of cards and credit limits that are higher, but for those out there starting out and or rebuilding, you have just witnessed a customer who's had positive results so far. :)

I pretty much spend, and paid it immediately every month incurring no interest charges until about 3 months ago I went on a trip. I used some, paid more than the minimum payment, but not the whole thing. I still used it between those months, never going over, but still paying more than the minimum payments, and not the whole thing. I carried a balance until yesterday when I paid it off. Since then though, I've applied for two more cards with $500 lines. I'll probably put this one a way for a while, and rotate with my other cards though. My HSBC/Capital one transition one with 300 will definately hit the sock drawer lol..no increase option on that until mid next year because that's when they will be fully transition. Hopefully I'll be able to maybe product change or something..59 AF sucks lol
