Whether it's secured or unsecured it doesn't mean you can just return it. Because in that case a lot of people would be returning their expensive cars when they lost a job - those are secured loans.
I think your best bet would be to look into your state's lemon law to see if there's an protection since the product keeps falling apart. If all else fails take Dell to small claims court and sue for 3x the price you paid for it.
