Funny how my thread stating how little action this forum had as of late brought on so much action.

20 more days unitl I can "request" my CLI with discover. 20 days will be the 6 month mark. We shall see.

I don't come on as much anymore. When I had a post of mine editted of a few words (non-profane or vulgar) I decided I'd simply just visit less and contribute less in my own way.

The owner of this forum can do as he sees fit, but I'ma supporter of free speech and open debate. Regardless of the words used, so long as they aren't hateful.

I visit everyday too, its a nice site. Organized, easy to get around and people know what they are talking about. Sad to see it not being used as much.

The 1st amendment is everything about the government regulating what you can say. It has nothing to do with private forums, like this. Think of it as a newspaper. The editor-in-chief has the final say about anything that gets published, period. This is a common misconception about internet forums in that you can say or do anything....it's just not true.

As for the general topic, I've been pretty busy with work and family of late and have restricted my posting considerably...I don't think I've even been on myFico in a month, or Flyertalk for that matter.
Cards:
American Express Platinum (NPSL)
Penfed Platinum Reward Visa ($28K)
Chase Freedom Visa ($25K)
Fidelity American Express ($20K)

Bank of America Cash Rewards MasterCard ($20K)
Citi Thank You Preferred Visa ($9.5K)
Chase Sapphire Preferred ($7.5K)
US Bank Cash + Visa Signature ($7K)
Discover IT ($4K)

The thing about the forum is, there are plenty of lurkers for every poster. Eventually some of them get brave and start to post. I lurked for a bit before posting here. Hopefully some of them will start to contribute and this will grow into a great resource without a specific agenda (such as gardening or using VRs until your accounts get closed down and you are banned from a lender).

I never once said anything about the 1st ammendment. If you actually read what I wrote, you'd have gotten what I said. I know far well what the bill of rights is about.

Go back and read what I wrote. I never said anything about his surpressing my speech, he has a right to do with this place as he sees fit. However, censoring people and/or editting their statements is pretty lame and overboard.

I never said anything about "he's taking mahhh freedoms!" or that freedom of speech on the internet (private sites especially) is absolute. You are probably trolling me because I don't get how I couldn't have been more clear.
