FIA Amex tripled pulled me

Postby MemberSince99 » Mon Jun 24, 2013 9:31 pm

I must be blind but I never noticed before tonight that when I app'd for the FIA card in Dec of last year, they TRIPLE pulled me - every one of the CRAs has a hit on it from FIA, just like Cap One.

All I can say is, had I known that, I would NEVER have applied for it. So I want to give the warning that it happened to me, for anyone thinking of going for the card.

And yes I do realize they are within their rights to do that, but I'm also within my rights to let others know they did it, so you can decide if that's a risk you want to take before you apply. Just be aware it's a possibility.

MemberSince99, it looks like you have two FIA cards opened 12/12, the FIA Retirement Amex and the BofA Travel Rewards Signature Visa.

Did you get six pulls total?

No David, BofA pulled only EX for the Travel Rewards card, but FIA pulled them all for the Amex. (Thankfully).

You could make a great case that a 2% 10k limit card is worth 3 pulls, but, man that hurts!
