Herbergers credit card login not working, can't do payment?

Postby jaloc » Mon May 27, 2013 6:25 pm

When I go to the website for the Herbergers card this is the screen that I get.
error screen on Herbergers website
How do they expect me to pay online when their website isn't accessible? It's a Monday at 6 pm, what I would consider to be a pretty normal time that people would get on to do this. It's not like it's the middle of the night or anything. What am I supposed to do? Think they will waive the late fee if I am not able to take care of my bill before tomorrow?

Try calling the number on the reverse side of the card; you might be able to make a phone payment or at least get advice from the CSR.

I did. I tried 1-855-567-7743. That's Herbergers customer support number for their credit card accounts but it is closed because of Memorial Day. This is ridiculous. What do they expect people to do when there's no website and no one you can reach on the phone?

You can make a payment through their automatic phone system. I'm surprised there isn't any costumer representative working today. I thought all card issuers ALWAYS had 24/7 costumer support.

I just tried the website and it worked fine. It appears it's been down in certain parts of the country due to weather. There's a note on the page they are trying to get everything working again as quickly as possible. From what I understand, because of the weather and holiday weekend, it sounds like payments made in the morning won't be late, but don't quote me on that.

So if someone pulls a gun on me and demands my wallet, I should ask them to come back tomorrow because now is not a convenient time? Better yet, "Just a second, before I give you my wallet I need to take out my Herbergers card, I can't report it stolen today".
