Can you still file for bankruptcy chap. 7 even if you receive a letter to show up to court because you received a judgement from your credit card company for not paying your credit card debt?

If you're thinking of filing, you should ask a bankruptcy lawyer.

I agree with djrez4. A credit card forum, even one as excellent as this, is not the place for bankruptcy advice. Check your local library for bankruptcy books. I know my library has a whole section for bankruptcy law.
