UPS credit card for employees

Postby pvwu » Tue May 07, 2013 7:24 pm

UPS Employees Federal Credit Union has this.

Should you get a credit card that is linked to your employer or could that be a problem if you quit or get fired later on?

Credit Unions are usually independent organizations from employers. So even if you need to be a UPS employee to join, you may not need to continue to be one later and still enjoy the credit union's services. My wife joined a federal credit union 15 years ago when she worked for the State Department and although she hasn't worked there in over a decade, that credit union still financed our mortgage and we still carry a line of credit with them.
