Cross Country Bank credit card still exist?

Postby Geoff » Tue Apr 30, 2013 11:57 am

I need to re-establish my credit and a friend was telling me that a few years ago they had received an application for the Cross Country credit card and use it to help do the same thing. They said it was a good bad credit credit card.

When I google it I can't find anything about this bank. Where is Cross Country out of do they still exist or have they gone bankrupt or something. Thanks

Namvet is correct. You can no longer apply for a credit card from Cross Country in 2013 since they were acquired by Applied Bank.

With that said, you may be wondering if you should get a card from Applied and 9 times out of 10 I would strongly advise against that.

Aside from having excessive annual fees, so called "monthly maintenance fees" and high interest rates, 2 out of their 3 cards have absolutely no grace period (so you will incur interest even if you pay your bill in full).
Here is the truth about Applied Bank card offers.

I agree with CCG about getting a card from Applied. There are better choices out there for you. Do your research and pick the right card.
