Multiple hard credit inquiries on report from 1 application?

Postby Vandalized2 » Wed Apr 17, 2013 10:38 am

Little over two months ago I applied and was approved for a Cash+ with a 6k limit and I was very excited!

I pulled my credit for free since I got approved for this card and they pulled two hard hits on my credit!

I disputed one of the hits with Equifax to have one of them removed.
That leads me to 2 questions?

1. Is that the right thing to do?
2. What are my chances of getting that removed?

I once disputed a hard hit on my credit profile and the CRA responded that permissible use dispute needs to be directed to the credit grantor.

Yea, probably will be stuck with it. But remember it can only affect your score for 1 year.

Oh its fine, I was just kinda surprised and dumbfounded as to why they needed to pull a second one. But oh well, just have to wait longer for my AMEX . Not a big deal still have time to grow my credit
