Well guy I've seen you post this a bunch of times. Just do it. Nobody really cares after a while about what you have or don't have. We are comfortable (for right now) with the cards and the limits that we have. This affects nobody but yourself. And believe me I do appreciate the advice you give but at some point even you yourself have said that this system is a game and it just so happens that even though you may believe this, we are doing just fine.

Yeah, man! You really stuck it to them.

You should have mailed the pieces to Discover's CEO, David Nelms, with a letter explaining how they treated you like Jan Brady and that you ain't taking it no more!

Why is everyone ganging up on 99 yo?

I say good riddance to Discover and ask for a CLI on Target. I shop Target quite often! In fact, I just bought an ipad mini that was on sale and saved an addition chunk of change with my redcard. Unless you have another card that gets you 5% at discount stores, it doesn't hurt to keep the red. Besides, since you've been complaining about how you have a clean slate so far this year and there is nothing you're after, why not ask for a CLI? Trust me, when you run out of tp or the holidays roll around again, you're gonna wish you kept red!

Also, let's keep our pants on ladies and gentlemen. If you're gonna post a question or even blog aloud, you gotta take it with stride when someone you disagree with says something. And what's up with the taunting? (I actually googled David Nelms to see if he really was the CEO btw lol.)

Ummm no swipe_masta it's no that we are ganging up on him in regards to his decision (because we all make that decision at some point when we are not happy with our cards) it was just this has been going on for weeks and on several posts so we were just saying if you are going to do it just do it.

Target doesn't accept customer initiated CLI's, at least thats what I've been told several times, and have also read from others. They only give you auto increases, probably based on usage. Hopefully this will change now that TD Bank has acquired the REDcard from Target.

My philosophy has become if I'm not going to use it, it goes, period.

The day I feel like closing them all, I wlll, without hesitation. I haven't reached that point yet, but if it happens, it happens. And no they don't "owe" me a CL and I don't "owe" them anything either, other than whatever my balance is, which in the case of Target and Discover both is exactly 0 dollars and 0 cents. Disocver pending my payment of the balance in full that I made yesterday of course. Once that posts, it's gone. (Hasn't posted yet, I checked this afternoon so I'd know when to close).

Anyway, you feel one way I feel another, and being they are my cards, my way is going to win this one.

Cool story bro.

How old are you? You sound very immature and classless. Do whatever you want. Your credit, not mine.

99 is cool. We all have our habits. We just want him to cancel and let it go if he wants to do that. He's a man that sticks by his principles, which I can respect.
